  1. That's awesome!! So happy for you!
  2. I've been banded since July 2012. I lost about 60 lbs pretty quickly then came to a complete stand still for a long time. Now I have started to gain. I have been having issues with acid reflux on and off for awhile now. I have taken Prilosec to help, but it gets better then returns. Going through a really bad spell of it now. Couldn't sleep last night because every time I laid down and fell asleep the reflux would return. I've tried mylanta, tums, sitting up, etc. not sure what to do from here. Haven't been to my doc since Feb and it's July now. Scared he's going to take out all my fluid and wait it out. I don't want to gain anymore!!!!!! Anyone else with these issues?! What is causing it? Slipped band? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!!
  3. Wow...what a difference! You look beautiful!
  4. Wow! Congratulations on reaching your goal weight!
  5. Congrats!! That must have felt soooo good! I can only imagine what a size 6 would be like...lol
  6. Anyone can feel free to add me. TriciaLN
  7. Congrats! I too have noticed my belly being smaller, but mine while in my car. At my heaviest my belly would tend to rub on the steering wheel a bit, but now I sit comfortably and it's not even close. I've also been able to wear my belt on the 5th notch when before it was on the very last one and very snug. The little things mean the most.
  8. You look great! So happy in the pic. Congrats!
  9. You both look great! Thanks for sharing!!!
  10. Down 56.5 pounds since July 2012. Love my band!
  11. Amazing story! Thanks for sharing!
  12. I've lost 52 pounds so far and it's been 7 months. I go back next week to the doc to hopefully add to that number...lol. I usually eat a Protein bar for Breakfast or scrambled eggs with some cheese and milk. All have a good amount of protein. You might could try yogurt too. Try your best to keep your protein intake up and drink plenty of Water. Maybe talk to your doc about upping your Biotin mg per day. Again...I'm still learning about my band and what things I need to eat and what I really shouldn't. I wish I could help more. Sorry. Good Luck to you.
  13. Best wishes to you on your journey.
  14. Ohhh honey...I'm so sorry your going through such a hard time with your band. I can't comment much on what your going through other than to say my hubby noticed my hair getting thinner too. My hair has always been full, but now it's thin and light. I take biotin pills also to try to help it. Sorry I can't be much help, but I had to comment and let you know that I'm sure others are going through or have gone through the same things. Hang in there! I wish you all the best.
  15. Wow....that is so exciting!! Congrats to you! I hope to be there one day too.
