  1. You look great! I'm almost at 50 pounds gone too! Can't wait to be right there with ya!!
  2. Thanks for the replies!! Glad to hear that it really is normal and that the "oh yay" feeling will one day stay!!!
  3. I agree. Let this time be about you and not about the Momma drama. Easier said than done, believe me...I KNOW!! You are doing what's best for you and she doesn't have to like it or love it. Take this time to heal and reflect on your life's choices. She can choose to be apart of it or not. For your health mentally and physically....just let her go for now. She is your mother, she will be back. Hope this helps!
  4. I just had my 4th fill a week ago which puts me at a total of 6.5 cc's in my 14cc band. It seems like the 1st week after a fill I feel a little restriction, but it quickly fades by the next week. Is that a normal feeling?? My doc said it was, but I have yet to hear of anyone else saying they feel the same way. I'm going into the 2nd week (my doc gives fills every 2 weeks until you feel restriciton) and already I am starting to notice it again. I loved how I felt this past week and believed I was in the "green zone" or almost there, but now I'm not so sure. Is there anyone else out there experiencing the same thing?
  5. I lost 14 lbs during my 2 week liquid diet. Good Luck!
  6. Wow....your doing amazing!! Keep it up!! YOU look great!!!
  7. I have noticed the same thing with mine. The first week after a fill goes really well, but then it kinda fades away. Weird!
  8. You'll do fine!! Try not to doubt yourself. I'm sure you thought this was the best choice for YOU! I've had my band since July 12th and have lost 42 pounds so far. It will all be worth it in the end. God luck!
  9. I had my 4th fill yesterday. I have a total of 6.5 cc's in my 14 cc band now. I hope this one gets me to the green zone! Started out with 2 cc's at surgery. 1st fill - 2 cc's 2nd fill - 1.5 cc's 3rd fill - .5 cc's 4th fill - .5 cc's
  10. Welcome!! Your going to love it here...I sure do!!
  11. I definitely wish I wouldn't have told as many people as I did. I was just so excited for myself that I let it slip a few too many times. Looking back now....I wish I would have just kept my mouth shut!! It's our bodies, our business!!
  12. I watched it yesterday and posted it up on my Fb page. I can not believe someone took the time to write an email of that kind. I loved her response and especially her last thought! She is truly a beautiful person inside and OUT!!!
  13. Good luck! You'll do great!

  16. I experienced the same thing a few weeks after surgery. My doc said it was completely normal. After all you are recovering from a surgery. It takes time to heal. Rest when you need to and take some naps. You'll be feeling more energetic soon!
  17. I just started noticing noises too and I've had 3 fills. I hope it doesn't get too embarrassing!
