An average day for me is:

Breakfast: 1 hard boiled egg, 1 string cheese, Greek yogurt.

Lunch: 4oz meat and 1/2 cup Beans

Dinner: (I'm usually hungrier in the evening)

6oz meat, veggies, and a ff pudding for dessert.

If I get hungry before bed I'll have some carrots and hummus, or a string cheese.

I'm 9 pounds away from goal!!!!!!!

Best of luck to everyone:)

Everyday is different. Yesterday:

Breakfast: 1 scrambled egg, 1 link of sausage

Lunch: 1/2 ham and cheese sandwich (sliced ham, sliced cheese, whole wheat bread, and mayo), about 10 grapes

Dinner: About a 1/2 cup chili (I don't measure anything, I'm just estimating), pinch of shredded cheese

Snack: small can of pineapple chunks

If I go out, I usually order a salad or 1/2 sandwich and Soup. Or a burger (I eat about 1/3 of it). And I go out often (usually about 4-5 times a week). Now, I'm 3 yrs post op and not at perfect restriction as I used to be, so I can eat more things than I used to! I used to not be able to eat grapes or pineapple.< /p>

Good luck!

Marci

Cup of lite choc soy milk for drive to work (never hungry in am)

lunch during week is 1/2 ham or chicken salad with cheese on 1/2 of a flat round bread and SF pickle

dinner is usually 2-3 oz of fish or chicken, a veggie and a bite of potato

Sometimes I have eggs, cheese and turkey sausage for a lunch meal

Snacks include: Cabot sharp cheddar 75% FF cheese with Special K crackers, fruit, nuts, prunes, etc.

I too eat out a lot! A la cart chicken taco and dump the shell and add refried Beans or guacamole to it. Always sharing with husband or bringing home leftovers for several meals!

After 9 years with the band, I have a great eating routine.

Breakfast: Protein shake of some sort - usually a fortified slim fast. I sometimes have 4 oz of Total Cereal, but the day always goes better for me with the band when I have liquid for Breakfast.< /p>

*Snack: 100 Calorie Iced Coffee; or yogurt

Lunch: "lunch To Go" tuna packs, if I eat at my desk. If I go out, I usually choose a cup of Soup or one piece of fish - no sides.

*Snack: 3 or 4 oz of Almonds or Cashews; or yogurt; or sugar free pudding; or even another Slim Fast if I am really hungry.

Dinner: dinner is a little tricky. I usually have 3 to 4 oz of whatever I cook for my husband. He's a meat, potatoes and one green vegetable guy. I have a spinach soup that I make weekly and keep on hand to eat when he is having something that I can't do at all - like a big greasy hamburger.

*Snacks are important otherwise I am super hungry and eat meals too fast and they don't stay down.

After dinner, I try to stick to milk or Water. Eating too late in the evening gives me acid reflux.

I know you asked about a normal eating day, but for me Holidays are not even a challenge anymore.

I just ask myself if I want to feed my muscles or my fat cells and that helps me make good choices - most of the time.

Hope this helps!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
