? About Liquids After Fill

Recommended Posts

I have been in Clear liquids for 2 days since my fill. I know my dr is super conservative but wondering if other dr's allow Protein drinks not just Isopure on the third day. I know I should follow my drs orders but I feel so dizzy, hungry and have no energy.

Any suggestions?

All doctors are different but mine requires one day liquids then one day soft foods, then back to normal on day 3.

My dr only requires the first two meals after a fill to be liquid, then the next two meals are mushies and so on...so I'm sure having a Protein Shake at this point is fine. :D

Thanks everyone, I survived with Protein Shakes and felt better knowing that other dr's think they are safe to drink.

I did remember to take my Vitamins and was happy that I was actually chewing something...lol

mine has me on Clear Liquids for the 1st 2 days and full liquids for the next 2. He is, also, very conservative. Glad that you survived, ;-)

Mine does not require liquids after a fill. I do soft foods for my own "safety". I'm glad you were able to feel better with Protein Shakes.< /p>

My doctor told me liquids only for 24 hours and soft foods next 24 hours. I had no problem with a Protein Shake.< /p>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
