? About Liquids After Fill

I have been in Clear liquids for 2 days since my fill. I know my dr is super conservative but wondering if other dr's allow Protein drinks not just Isopure on the third day. I know I should follow my drs orders but I feel so dizzy, hungry and have no energy.

Any suggestions?

All doctors are different but mine requires one day liquids then one day soft foods, then back to normal on day 3.

Thanks! Your reassuring posts made me feel better. Drinking a protein shake now.

My Dr is the same like yours !

Make sure to take your vitamins !

It will get better!

My doctor says full liquids so protein shakes are allowed.

My dr only requires the first two meals after a fill to be liquid, then the next two meals are mushies and so on...so I'm sure having a protein shake at this point is fine. :D

Thanks everyone, I survived with protein shakes and felt better knowing that other dr's think they are safe to drink.

I did remember to take my vitamins and was happy that I was actually chewing something...lol

mine has me on clear liquids for the 1st 2 days and full liquids for the next 2. He is, also, very conservative. Glad that you survived, ;-)

Mine days 3 days full liquids...soft yogurt, cream of wheat, protein drinks, creamed strained soup, jello, milkshake yes the fattening ones, egg drop soup strained.

Mine does not require liquids after a fill. I do soft foods for my own "safety". I'm glad you were able to feel better with protein shakes.

My doctor told me liquids only for 24 hours and soft foods next 24 hours. I had no problem with a protein shake.
