My friends also didn't know abaut my band I just told them I had hernia surgery second time I told them I had some complications & now what do I say now?

Lucky me I'm a mom at home so I didn't lose any work days . My dr told me that they can put back the port 6 weeks after it was removed but since Nyu didn't do any surgery because of hurricane sandy I had to wait a little longer ...

I wish u best luck with antibiotic , My dr try everything not to have another Surgery but it didn't work so they removed the Port & next Friday I'm having 3rd surgery To put in a new port

They had to unfill me when the dr took out the port so I gain some wight back can't wait together it fixed

Make sure to take care if it my infection was so bad so they had to removed the port it was all infected I'm having another surgery on jan 18 to replace the port

Wow! I feel bad for u ! I hope u get better & u get your fill on time I'm still recovering, have no restriction now in my band so I have to be carfull not to gain wight Good luck to u!

Thanks for the info! This Monday got back to hospital had emergency surgery the dr took out the port I'm home in bed so weak can't wait got this nightmare to be over I'm not sure what to if to put a new port or to do the sleev first I need to heal !

Was banded on Aug 31 last week got terible pain in the port area after being admitted to hospital for 3 day the found infection around the port the dr tried to give antibiotic but unfortunately didn't help yesterday he did emergency surgery and took out the port Now I'm home trying to recover did any of u had this?

Back at the hospital need antibiotic iv The dr might do an emergency surgery To take out the port What a nightmare!

Was banded aug 31 gotmy first fill on oct 4 For the past few days I had fever Tommy pain I went to my family dr he said it's a bug that goes around yesterday my fever went up high And the pain was horrible I went to the emergency room after going true a few test They found that the area around the port is inflame they give me a strong antibiotic and If the fever & the pain don't go away by Thursday they need to remove the port What a nightmare!

My Dr is the same like yours ! Make sure to take your vitamins ! It will get better!

Got my first fill today ! Lost already 26 LB so proud of myself! My sergon put me on liquid for the next Two days & two days muchi food & Then back to regular food!

I did my surgery at NYU I use Dr Shwek he is the only Dr that take my insu in that group so far I'm happy with him I'm. Still recovering so far so good I lost 18 Lb since me first going to him
