Oh I struggle with this too! I have always had awful cravings during that time of the month. I am getting much better with it, I am choosing better foods to eat and have really cut back on my snacking, but I have not mastered it yet! If you figure out a way, please share it!!!!

I'm not sure what the nutritional values are, but try looking into the Weight Watchers chocolate candies by Whitmans.....they are portion size and delicious...I used to use them around that time of the mnth when I did WW....but again i was going by a points system, not sure of the nutritional facts.....

I crave cheese and chocolate (not together lol) something wicked during PMS week. So, I work it into my diet in moderation. I'll have one slice of cheesy pizza, or one Peanut Butter cup, or maybe even a small cafe mocha. I realize if I totally deny myself I'll end up binging eventually so I allow the "bad foods" in moderation when the craving is really bad. I am also sure to work them into my daily caloric allowance, too. So, even when having my little indulgent moments, I'm still at least being careful not to go way over in calories.

i dont crave during my tom but my moods range from one extreme to another..

but if i wanted to have a chocolate or a salt, id try to find the healthiest choice i could find

remember, and this is what i tell myself, having the band is not a diet. there are no off limits foods. Portion Control is key

if you want something eat it and get over with it ..i feel if you dont, you go into a i want that and now i cant and i am miserable and then what the heck and binge...)

I agree carolina! if I dont at least allow for a treat, a binge might occur. I do not want to lose everything. But allow in moderation! To eat a whole ball of fresh mozzarella, now that would not be good, but a slice with a fresh Tomato on it.. a bit of balsamic and some salt... YUM!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
