It might take you a few more fills to get restriction. Just hang in there until th and keep up with workin out and eating right.

It'll get better. They're just trying to sneak up on that green zone so your body has a chance to heal and accept it's new arrangement. It may take a few fills to get there, but when you do your hunger will be totally manageable. I have a 14cc band too and I'm finally feeling my zone at 9cc's. Yours will probably be different. Hang in there. Help is on the way.

I have a14 band also, don't get discouraged it took me a long time to really feel it. Just remember everyone is different. When my dr did my fills he never put large amounts in they were very small. 4 years later I still am getting fills still loosing slowly, but hey I will take that.

Doctors are reluctant to add too much saline to your band at any one time. It could cause excessive swelling if they were to squeeze your stomach so quickly. It took me 3 fills to find some restriction and a total of 6 to get to the green zone.

There's also a learning curve with eating with the band. It takes time to adjust to the eating slow, eating small and chewing big routine. It's not something we've all practiced for many years. It's frustrating of course because you want to get this train rolling on the way to losing weight. I really bugged my doctor and went in every 3 weeks for a fill. Don't be shy with the Doc and let him know that you are ready for another fill but give it a few weeks.

The comment about easing to your green zone sounds right, because they have to gradually add to your band because if the fill too fast you may swell so much that you will not be able to get anything in. If you notice no one ever gets a fill before 4 weeks. I bet your next visit for a fill will not before 4 weeks. Keep up your Protein and say away from carbs, that is what makes you hungry. Mark my words. You can not avoid carbs in foods like yogurt, cottage cheese etc, but if you avoid the white carbs that will help alot. I was told in one of our workshops that if you look at a lable and you see Fiber, you can deduct that from the carbs in that item. Also that you do not need to worry about sugar because the carb and sugar are the same. 1 serving of carb is between 15-20 carbs. On my prediet my nut told me to take in 100 gram of protein, 120 carbs and 50gr of fat no more and stay close to those numbers and I loss 25 pounds in 2months. I am waiting today to find out what my intake should be now that I am on mushies. It was nice on shakes only because I did not have to count anything. Hope this helps. How much have you loss?

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
