**** Happy To Mentor/buddy For Anyone****

Recommended Posts

See so many new postings going up looking for mentors and support from all over states. I live in New York, and border Connecticut. If anyone from either one are seeking a mentor, I'm always here to help out. Goes the same for anyone from any state. I've helped a few people so far, from all over.. please don't limit yourselves. My name is Steve, I only bite upon requests :-P feel free to pick my two functional brain cells remaining ,they enjoy the stimulus. ..

Would love u to be my mentor Steve. I live in Australia , when I got my band done there was no support, u were expected to work it out on your own. Operation done, now go off and sort yourself out. It's taken me about a year and a half to work out exactly how the band works. I lost weight then tried to be smart and went too tight and ending up just eating chocolate and Protein Drinks and of course put a lot of weight back on. I was so under nourished. Had no energy, now I think I'm back on track and can eat small pieces of meat, but still fighting that sugar addiction. So hard, and trying to give up smoking which makes me want more sugar!!!! Would love some positive advice.

G'day Tina...

Thought I'd give my Aussie accent a whirl. ..lol. ..so let's see... when did you have it done? My personal opinion, why would you put a tool into somebody and not tell them how to use it? May as well given a loaded gun to a kid and said here play with this. o_O. Well I can tell you from personal experience, can't quit smoking and diet at same time. One the withdrawal will make you attack sugar more, hence no loss. And the stress will make your cravings worse.. do you know the amount of c.c.' s band holds, and amount in presently?

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
