Port Question

I was banded on 07/11. And had my follow up today. I was wondering. Did you guys feel your port after surgery. I cannot feel mine and I am not sure if I should be nervous

There may be some swelling still.

I can't remember if I could feel my right off the bat but now I am 3 weeks out and I can feel it if I push down near my largest incision.

Yeah, I only thought I sort of felt it the first week or two after surgery, but now I can definitely feel it. I agree, I think it's hidden by swelling at first.

Some people have more stomach fat than others, so that could be an issue. It could also be that your surgeon placed it in a hidden away place :)

I had too much stomach fat to feel it initially. Now I can feel it that I have lost a lot of stomach fat. I also can feel it if I lay on my stomach on the floor (during exercising). That drives me nuts.

I can feel it a month later but only when I am laying down.

It took me a couple of weeks before I found it, but mines near my belt line. Luckily, I hate belts! :-)
