breast reduction questions

Recommended Posts

I agree, wow. Some of them looked like they were "relieved" of the extremely large hanging breasts, but some of the afters looked absolutely FRIGHTENING! I couldn't imagine.

I was a 42DD before banding and I am a 38 large C/Small D now. I still say wait and see when you are close to goal.

thanks for all of your stories....i am out of town right now till the end of march, but my doc office called and said they could schedule for surgery for april 3rd....i have already been approved by the insurance company.

i think i need a bit of time to think about this.....i did not think it would be approved so quickly!!!

thanks again for all your stories...i will probably have more questions later : )

If you change your mind and go ahead with it on the 3rd, Maggie, we'll be ps buddies lol, as my tummy tuck/breast reduction is scheduled for that day :)

paula-how could you do that to me (lol) some of those pictures are hideous.....i would be sick if they made mine look worse rather than better.

i look a bit like #105 or #110 (not quite that bad) now, so i really need to do something. even when i was thin my breasts were saggy. it has caused me many problems over my life.

yea jess...we can support one another!! i do not like going under again...the loss of control makes me very bery uncomfortable!!

thanks for all your great advice guys. i did make my surgeon show me before and after pics of his work....they looked great (but who knows if he got them off the interent or what) : )

i will let you know what i decide to do....(okay, i can't get some of the those pics out of my mind...paula i am calling you if i can't sleep tonight : ) hehe

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
