Hello

Hello,

My name is Jarrin J. I'm 25 years old and I was banded on 5/31/2012. This was a decision that I had be considering for quite sometime and i finally did it. I want to start a family with my wife and I want to make sure that I was around to be a father to our kids. I'm @ my heaviest weight 483 :-( and I'm look forward to this being a successful journey.

Thanks Everyone! I'm feeling a little better every day... Dr B. found a hernia while installing my band which increased my pain level but its been going well the last few days...

Hi JJ,

Yay for you! I was banded 5/29. The recovery is a little more than I expected but really feeling better every day! You can do this! It is a big step but having all of the support from this great site is phenomenal! The members here are so kind and answer questions for all of us newbies! Congrats again!

I am glad you are doing better I have a EGD scheduled for tomorrow to check for a hernia I heard they are very common. I read that in the beginning you don't have any appetite, is this the case for you? Good Luck

Congrats on your new journey
