I have lost 94 lbs. I tried eating some fish last night, just a couple of forks full and I starting vomiting. I have no restrictions. I had a Protein Shake this morning for Breakfast , with no problems.

sounds like you must have restriction if a couple of bites wont go down and is coming out. As far as the Protein Shakes going down ok, they should because that is a slider. If this has been going on for 3 weeks, maybe you need a little bit taken out.

Seems like your system is irritated...perhaps it would be helpful to return to a liquid diet for a day or so to allow everything to calm down.

BTW, I was advised by the dietitian that Protein bars, along with any type of granola bars are not good choices for the Band diet.

Hope you will feel better fast!

Why no Protein bars?

Go see your doctor and have them check it under xray! Could be a stretched pouch tilting your band. I had a similar problem. They took out my Fluid 4 weeks ago in hopes that my pouch and band will go back to where they should be and then I can get fills again. I go back in 2 weeks to check. The longer you wait, if that is the problem, the longer it could take for you pouch and band to get back in place. Go see your doc asap!

Why no Protein bars?

My dr has never said no protein bars. In fact, he sells them in the office!

Holly Dolly good idea, I will start a liquid diet tomorrow

I am surprised on the Protein bars, my dietician recommends them. I did try granola bars, no good. I do have an appointment with my Doctor, but not until 6/29/12

are you living through undue stress right now?? sometimes stress can make the band a lot tighter. it does with me.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
