I have lost 94 lbs. I tried eating some fish last night, just a couple of forks full and I starting vomiting. I have no restrictions. I had a protein shake this morning for breakfast , with no problems.

BTW, I was advised by the dietitian that Protein bars, along with any type of granola bars are not good choices for the Band diet.

Hope you will feel better fast!

Why no protein bars?

Go see your doctor and have them check it under xray! Could be a stretched pouch tilting your band. I had a similar problem. They took out my fluid 4 weeks ago in hopes that my pouch and band will go back to where they should be and then I can get fills again. I go back in 2 weeks to check. The longer you wait, if that is the problem, the longer it could take for you pouch and band to get back in place. Go see your doc asap!

Why no protein bars?

My dr has never said no protein bars. In fact, he sells them in the office!

Holly Dolly good idea, I will start a liquid diet tomorrow

I am surprised on the protein bars, my dietician recommends them. I did try granola bars, no good. I do have an appointment with my Doctor, but not until 6/29/12

are you living through undue stress right now?? sometimes stress can make the band a lot tighter. it does with me.

I have had days that I can't keep water down, now it's just food, I haven't had a fill since October.

I have a 10 cc band and I my fill is at 6.25cc.

It is so frustrating i feel like i either have to be thirsty n hungry all day or try to drink and be in constant pain .. One drink and the heartburn and acid reflux kicks in and my shoulders and back get tight and im miserable all day and night

Today went a little better, I just had liquids for 3 days, today for dinner I tried a bowl of cream of wheat, it went down with no trouble and stayed down. Tomorrow I will just some soup.

krussell19 , when did you have your surgery, I haven't had any shoulder pain since the day after my surgery
