Little Quirks With The The New Site Update

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to post this here but I did use the contact us link on the bottom of the page to report the following:

Quick post reply not working. Have to go into full editor mode to post.

Add comment button not working when trying to comment on a blog post.

Tested with both IE and Firefox.

Thank you Alex for this wonderful site. A lot of us owe a great deal of gratitude to you for creating such a wonderful support site.

Seems I cannot edit my posts either...Such as the typo and extra words in the post title. I can go into edit mode but I cannot save changes or go into full editor.

I don't like the new layout when you click view new content. Before you could easily decipher when a post was originally started and what section it was in. Now with the combo of change in font and bullet points it's kind of annoying.

Maybe I'm being too picky ;)

Hi Jim,

I've just made a test post (using Firefox 10) - and am making this post here using the Quick Reply (in Safari) and both are working for me.

Can you let me know what version of Firefox and what version of IE you're having problems with?

Thanks,

Ken

I am unable to post or quote with Mozilla. I am now using IE and it seems to be working.

- Can't edit post

- why do I show "0 warning points"? I don't see that for anyone else.

- What happened to the date I joined?

I've just posted (and edited a post) using Firefox 11...I'm wondering if this is possibly an intermittant issue? What platform are you using (Windows XP, Widnows 7, Mac?)?

We'll do our best to reproduce this issue so that we are able to resolve it.

Edited.

Quick Test.

When I use a mobile device, I use an iPhone 4. I am seeing this behavior on my desktop computer running Windows 7 and IE 9.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
