6 Week Post Op Visit..no Fill

Hey Guys! I am 5 weeks post op and am down 20 pounds!! I started at 250 on the surgery date and today at my visit I am 230!! I am happy and decided not to get a fill this time. Only thing I am worried about is will my weight loss slow down now since I didnt get a fill? I workout almost everyday 30-45 minutes of cardio and I swear by Jackie Warner fitness videos and Wii fit. I am hoping to reach Onderland by July. What are your thoughts on skipping fills?

Congratulations on your success so far! It is really up to you and your medical team as to whether you skip fills or not. If you don't need one at this stage, then don't get one, but consider how easily and what cost is involved if you have to make another appointment because you reach a point where you decided you need a fill.

I am fortunate that my visits and fills are fully covered by the healthcare system here in Australia, however, I can have a wait of several weeks to get in for an appointment. I have come out three times with no fill in my first 12 months. Each time I have gone into the appointment knowing that I didn't need a fill and my surgeon has agreed.

Best of luck for moving forward.
