Oh my gosh I can't believe it's here! I get banded tomorrow may 4th at 6am! Wish me luck! The pre op diet sucks and I'm glad I'm half way through it, can anyone give me some ideas of what I can eat right after surgery? Pretty much protein drinks and broth right?? I had a death in my family last Friday do I have been sticking to my diet but have not been able to get as organized as u would like :/

It all depends in your doctor.

I was banded yesterday and I have to be in a clear liquid diet for 1 week. Water, sf ice pops, ice chips, crystal light. After my follow up I can add broth and Protein drinks for 2 weeks. After that it's mushy foods for 4 weeks and then solids.

Good Luck with your surgery! Check in and let us know how it went!

Hi! Just checking in! Yesterday and this morning I was really sore and couldn't get comfortable at all but now, at the end of day 2, I feel much better. ???Š
