What am I missing? Why are ppl leaving?

Recommended Posts

BigPaul, I am talking about the topic of the thread. Not your discussion that you have brought to the thread. Others are still chiming in on why they think people are leaving and how that makes them feel. No one is discussing your issue of a hijacker anymore. That is what has been requested to be taken to PM.

One is a broad discussion, with no finger pointing, and an expression of viewpoints. the other is a problem with a particular LBTer that should remain between you and that LBTer.

I think what Paul means is - if y'all are refering to Paul and I's discussion, it was resolved - as noted by us both saying we were done. Dunno why people continue to comment on it, but it seems kinda fruitless.

I am commenting on his Hijacker situation and his issue with a particular LBTer. Not on your discussion. Sorry if I wasn't more clear Jill. I do try to be, but fail sometimes. :)

I just have to say that I m really happy to see that most of the peoplewho said thatthey were leaving are still here or have come back. Even people who left a while ago are returning. People I used to read posts of when I was still a lurker. Its good to see LBT is not in the state it was last week. Welcome back all!!

:) :clap2: :( :clap2: :( :clap2: :D :clap2:

I find it interesting that in the very thread discussing that the board is becoming argumentative, had become argumentative.

LOL (I know it's resolved, which I am glad of...I just had to point out the irony):biggrin1:

It just makes me wonder how we are supposed to see the world make peace with each other if we can't even get it together on a forum board.

:)

I guess Im confused. Who -are- all of these people we keep saying are leaving? I only know of one who has. More people arrive everyday, some from long ago are returning. Someone said that there are fewer posts, but I'm overwhelmed by all of the posts. There's even an entire thread about not being able to keep up with all of ths posts now.

This thread confuses me. I know a couple of people were going to leave, but they got their issues resolved and are here and active. Why is this thread still going? Am -I- missing something?

Why is this thread still going?

Uh... 'Cause people keep posting on it, so it keeps coming to the top of the new post list, and then people keep posting on it... ad nauseum...

:)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
