Be My Valentine Challenge

Recommended Posts

Checking in today at 149, down 4 lbs from last week.

I had a fill on Friday that ended up WAYYY too tight. Let me tell you, up all night choking on your own spit is not fun! My Dr. fixed it on Monday, but I'm still down 4 lbs so that's at least something. Hope to still hit my goal of 145 ish for the month and my ultimate goal of 138 in March.

Keep on keeping on!

I failed to check in last week. That was probably a sub conscious decision because I know I was not good. Oh well today i weighed in at 170 so 1 pound down from the beginning of the challenge. Oh well at least it was a loss and not a gain. I will try to do better this week. I really want to get this last 20 pounds off, but I know that it gets harder the smaller you get. I will keep on chipping away 1 pound at a time!

I have been MIA for a couple of weeks, its been crazy busy but here are my stats;

Feb 1 - 242

Feb 8 - 241

Feb 15- 237.6

Hope to exceed my goal this month. Fingers crossed. As far as bad habits go, i still put food on my plate like I did pre-banding knowing fully well there is no way I can finish it. Seriously need to work on that.

Laura down 1 lb - very discouraged. Had the stomach flu Sunday, and gained a lb. after not eating for two days. I weighed myself Sunday morning, then got sick, and weighed again this am. Can anyone please explain this?

      Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
