Today I have my final psych appointment I had to do 2. First was for the test, this one is to go over the test. Then I go to meet the surgeon. Getting excited but how much more do I have to look forward to once I meet the surgeon?? I know I have to do a ekg and other test before we send in for approval to blueshield. But for those already thru this stage how long did it take? Thanks

I am so there with you! I have only my psyche test to do and then I too have completed all the checkoffs required. So excited to get a surgery date soon. Good luck to you!

My psy eval is on Monday morning. Only a 1 hour session as required by Blue Cross of Nebraska.

Back to the Center on 10-14 to finish up ck. list and send to insurance company.

Good luck to you! I hit a bump. The psychologist said I failed the questionnaire. I was to scared to answer the questions about stress or depression and they said that I was not in touch with my emotions and wouldn't be ready to make a life style change. Luckily the lady said after talking with me face to face she didn't believe it was true so she is having me retake the test. Only bummer is I have to wait for approval frm ins. And and take another 2 hr test. But o well just trying to stay encouraged.

A Test!!! Good Lord - Have hated tests since High School - Can we do extra curricular activities to bring up our grade - LOL!! Use to do that in High School because I didn't test well. I have my Psych Eval on Wednesday 9/28 - My husband says for what - I can tell them your crazy... I saw somone posted about having BCBS (Nebraska) I am BCBS Delaware - All joking aside - I think mine is a 1 hour session as well - Crazy how alot of things are done differently from state to state and doctor to doctor as well as insurance to insurance.. Take Care everyone!!

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
