Just a reminder when you weigh in each Thursday if you are using a name that is different than your forum alias please include it in the post. It makes my life easier if I don't have to figure out who you are each week.

Thanks.

Hey Larry! I am glad you surfaced, I wqas wondering where you were! I don't think you could be any nicer but you can try if you want to, lol.

I ate out a lot this weekend while out of town and was able to find lap appropriate foods at each restaurant.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Joan

Okay, JulieG (nu2ywg) checking in today at 211.5, that's down 2.5! Yay! Only 3.5 lb from my goal for the month but boy oh boy it's a BUSY month.

Lucky Larry for the gym membership, that is fantastic! Joan, good for you on the eating out. I always have a bit of a tough time at restaurants, especially when we are eating with other people besides my nuclear family. For some reason, probably too much chit chat and not enough focus on chewing, I end up having a stuck-type episode. I don't usually have to throw up or anything but I usually get very uncomfortable and have to stop eating for several minutes and considering nobody but my husband knows I have had the surgery I usually excuse myself to get through it.

I hope everyone had a great week!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
