So I'm now 5 days out.

I'm noticing now that I'm able to drink more and get more in me, that my stomach is really noisy!

While I'm drinking I'll take a sip and there will be couple very audible noises as I guess it's dripping through my band. It's even louder with my Protein Shake (which is a little thicker)! It doesn't bother me all that much but just wondering - is that part of being banded? Or is that just for now while my stomach is still getting used to everything?

Very normal. I am 10 days out and get the gurgling. Not as much recently, but I guess it depends on the day and what I drink.

I started making gurgle noises about 8 months when i got a good fill. When the room is really quiet others can hear it too if they are sitting very close to me! LOL! It's weird! It sound like a sink draining or something....

LOL, I happened to be drinking a Protein Shake while reading this forum and listening to my belly. The sounds are very weird but I have also wondered how long will they last. I am on day 4 post op.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
