Ha I got banded on the 8th. I did not go until the 12. I was really jumbled up for a while. I was not drinking enough Water. One I did that, I had no problems. I sent a text to my wife, I DID #2! Hee-hee

even after surgery....I'm a year and a half out..and bm are irregular...I sometimes only go once or twice if I'm lucky a week. My doctor states it is normal. Less food in..less food out. Every now and then I need a laxative to get rid of the Constipation if I feel really backed up.

I think I have all of ya beat!!! I was banded on the 28th of July and I made sure to drink a cup of coffee the day before to make sure I pooped before the big day!! Well my friends, I didn't go for ELEVEN DAYS!!!!! I didn't have pressure to go to the bathroom but I did have a lot of gas pains from the waist up so I didn't coralate the two! I finally drank 4oz of coffee and a hour a later I went, it was great haha!!! The gas moved its' way out shortly after that. I also noticed that I will only go about every three days now (on pureed foods) but during those three days I won't lose weight then after I poop I lose 2-3 lbs so I look forward to it now! Good Luck!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
