Hi all! This is my first post but I've been reading the boards for months. Surgery was 5/4/11 and down 21 lbs so far. Had my first fill this past Monday and was not expecting it to hurt so much. It took my breath away and I will admit there were some unladylike words that came out of this Southern girl's mouth. It felt like he put the needle in and shoved down and over to get the port over to it. It's been five days and it is still very sore & tender. NO fever/redness/oozing/bruising, etc. Just sore, especially the more I move throughout the day. Nurse isn't worried unless any of the other symptoms arise, but she said it's a bit uncommon to be sore 5 days later. (I was thinking..."you didn't witness the manipulation he did on my port area, lady!" I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered such a painful fill and continuing soreness post-fill.
