I bought a new pair of heels today and was astounded to fit into a size 9. This time last year I was wearing a size 11. I tried on a couple of other pairs just to make sure it wasn't just the shoe I was buying but the 9's fit in all of them. Has anyone else experienced such a drastic change in shoe size?

Yes, mine changed as well from a 10 -11 to a 8.5 or 9....all depends on the shoe! Now I am not afraid to wear heels! I was always worried I would snap them

Yes, mine went from 8 1/2 w to 7 1/2 m. I haven't wore 7 1/2 in many years. I 1st noticed last Oct. I was going to my father's funeral, and the shoes I brought kept going clicking on the floor because they were way to big. I had to run to Walmart, (very small town), to get something to wear. I 1st tried 8's then 7 1/2. I am quite comfortable in them. May have to try 7's this year though. Good luck on your weight loss and shoe size! Karen

I was told that you drop 1 shoe size approx every 30 pounds.

I'm down 65 pounds, and have been re-fitted at New Balance twice.

(I'm lucky, I get to wear tennis type shoes at work :P - I haven't worn a dress shoe in 14 years)

I am back in a 8.5 after wearing 9 for the last 10 years.

Of course my feet are two different sizes-- my right is bigger than the left (actually , true of my thighs and my boobs too-- I am really lopsided toward the right side, lol!).

I have bought so many new pairs of cute shoes that I hope my size doesn't keep going down. I don't think it will-- I wore an 8.5 through high school.

130 lbs down and my feet haven't changed a bit. Too bad, because I'm thin and my feet are still annoyingly wide!

Last summer before surgery, I bought some new Asics in a size 11. They fit awesome. Now they fit big and floppy, like clown shoes. LOL

I need to buy some smaller ones.

Down from an 8 to 7.5 after approx 75 lbs...

but here's the worst part. I also "shrunk" 1/2 an inch....anybody else get shorter? did I have fat on the soles of my feet?

Crazy....but truth is I always "was" 5' 1 1/2" only went up to exactly 5'2' after gaining a lot of weight as an adult.... oh well I'll take it :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
