I think this 2nd fill is going to do the trick. I tried some more solid food yesterday and got stuck after just a couple bites. I probably didn't chew well enough or slow enough, as I really haven't had to worry about either of those things until now. Or, I guess it could be that I'm still swollen from the fill. Whatever it is, I hope I figure it out or unswell soon because I'm going camping tomorrow and have the best meals planned to make on my grill while we're there. I don't want to a) cook yummy food I can't eat more than one bite of and B) have anybody notice I slaved over a hot grill for hours, yet am only drinking my Walmart brand weight loss shakes (I swear that the Equate Strawberries & Cream in a can is the best flavor of all weight loss shakes, ever. Not too thick, either) and odd little mushies.

Geez, eating is a chore. I sure wasn't doing a good job of practicing eating slow and well, because I'm having a helluva time of it now. That's okay, having things get stuck is GREAT motivation.

On the positive side, the scale is finally moving again. Yay!

I'm looking forward to getting my fill next week. For 2 weeks after my 1st fill, I had restriction and gradually it wore off. Weight loss has slowed and I've only lost 8 lbs this past month. I've been sick the last four days and I wonder if that has something to do with it, but at any rate, I am really looking forward to my Thursday appointment!

Have fun camping, Spot, I'll be thinking about you as I clean out the garage!

I really hope that doesn't happen to me! Stay, fill, stay!

Camping was fun. I did PB two times while there, but was able to eat small amounts of everything (other than those two PB meals, I suppose, lol). I did a lot of physical exercise, too.

That's great, I love camping - haven't been this year though. Too much going on at work.

I have my 2nd fill on Thursday, I am SO ready for it. It's like the first fill never happened. I had restriction for 2 weeks and then it left, or disappeared or something. I can eat bread and all kinds of stuff again and I hate being able to do that! The only time I PB is when I eat too big of a bite or too fast.

I admit I've been bad during the last week and that's probably why I haven't lost any weight. With having that cold and then Memorial Day weekend, I did a lot of stuff around the house and yard - planted my garden finally, sweated like a pig - and stuffed my face. Potato salad and barbeque sauce, very bad. I'm back on track today and really downing the Water, I think I've been drinking too much diet Snapple and my body is thinking the sweetener in it is sugar and everything has stopped.

I didn't get on the treadmill today, was too sore from working like a fiend this weekend, but I'm back on it tomorrow! Time to stop eating like I never had the band and get back with the program.

Okay, got 2nd fill yesterday. I'm having some problems so far.

I got my fill around 9am. Went shopping, did some errands, got home around 2pm. I was hungry, hadn't had anything to eat since the night before. So I scrambled some eggs, got about half of them down and then they came back up. Yuck. So I just left it at that. I can get Water down just fine, and also crystal light.

Last night, I made some very soft fish and well-done veggies, cut very small. Was able to get down 1/2 cup veggies and about 3 oz of fish. I had to stop in the middle and let everything settle down, and then was able to resume. But everything stayed down and I didn't drink 1/2 before eating or an hour after eating. Drank two bottles of Water before bed, everything was okay.

This morning, tried eggs again - with some soft turkey sausage. 5 bites into it everything came up again. Tried again (stubborn I guess) and ate just eggs - everything came up.

I am hoping that it's either just the eggs that I can't tolerate anymore, or I was very tight this morning. I ended up getting out a Protein powder and making a chocolate smoothie, which seems to be staying down okay - looking at my glass right now it's about 1/2 gone.

I am scared I'm too tight - but if I was too tight, I wouldn't have been able to keep the fish and veggies down last night, right? So it must be the eggs.

Update - it's gotta be that I can't get eggs down anymore. I had a turkey burger patty for lunch along with some broccoli, and it went down fine and stayed down fine.

Bummer - I love scrambled eggs :(

The first 3-4 days after my 2nd fill, I was bringing back up my food about every other meal. The last couple days have finally been much better. I've read that some others have had problems with eggs... it very well could just be the eggs.< /p>

I can't believe eeryone has had a fill and I haven't yet!:( Hopefully June 13th. Noticing I can eat alot more now in a short amount of time..... Who knows? Maybe only 1 fill will work for me? Guess we will soon find out.

Don't feel bad Andytime08...... I didn't have my first fill until 6/8 (2.5cc) and then about 3 days later I could eat the kitchen sink if I wanted to :(. I just got my 2nd fill today (1cc) so hopefully that will provide some restriction for me because my will power is starting to fade after so long. I lost only 3 lbs since my first fill. Here's hoping that the 2nd fill will work for a bit!

Good luck to us all :D

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
