Anyone VBAC with the band?

I had a c-section for failure to progress with my first child. I would like to have a baby late 2012/early 2013, and would really like to have a natural birth. I'm wondering if the band makes me high risk and kicks me out of VBAC.

Having a c-section with the band is no different than without a band! They go much lower than your port, or band, or any of the tubing will ever go so you should be fine!

Yeah, I know it's waaaaay below the belt, but wanting to not have another c-section, I'm wondering if they will say the band makes me too high risk. Docs love to call you high risk over strange stuff.

That I don't know! It really just depends on how your band does throughout your pregnancy (I would assume)

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and will be attempting a VBAC. I'm going with a Midwife though. They said the band is not a problem same risks as without. I"m hoping for the best!
