breast size b4 and after weight loss surgery

Recommended Posts

I'm still losing, but after getting down 85 lbs. I went from a 40DD to a 38DD....I think it's a genetic thing, so probably wait and see what happens.

I would wait till you are almost till goal. I had my breast reduction 1.5 years after my lap band surgery.

I am still losing, but went in for a bra fitting yesterday. I am 5'9", Had a starting weight of 326 and was a 44F. Now I am about 225 and a 36DDD. It sucks that at 23 my boobs are as saggy as they are (think a deflated sharpei... literally almost at my belly button) but I'd rather be healthy with saggy boobs than unhealthy with bigger ones. I too am thinking of a lift when I hit goal.

You are doing marvelously, Daisychains7, I know that you are proud of the new you! A you lose, you will probably lose some more on top. 36 something is probably where you will stay, but that is not too bad, I think everyone who is currently losing, should wait for a lift until they are near or at goal. Wise choice!! I am an "old" lady. 63. My breast size went from 44dd to 36d, or c. I don't like how I look in a c because they looked squished in. I am very flabby, but no surgeries for me at my age. Good luck to you all. Karen

Hi' date='

I had a reduction two years ago and before surgery my doctor asked me if I planned on doing lapband surgery. at that time I was not planning on doing it, he stated to me if I was planning on doing lapband he would wait for me to do the reduction because of weight lose. Now that I have made the choice to do lapband I wonder what size my breast will end up at. Before reduction I was an H, now I am a C. If I had to do it all over again I would wait till after the band to do a reduction.[/quote']

I did the same thing. I was a 40 dd and now I'm a 38c. I had my Lapband surgery 2 months ago and my husband is the one worried.(lol) when I had my breast reduction 3 yrs ago, I had no intentions of having Lapband. I would wait.

I def would NOT get a reduction before losing the weight. I started a DD at 220lbs years ago and lost some weight and went down to a b (150lbs) then i gained weight, was at 200 lbs and was a D. Then I lost weight again and at 150lbs I was a b again and my boobs looked terrible. I went in for a lift and implants and I am now a d again.

You will lose a lot in your boobs during weight loss so I would wait to see how you end up. You dont want to get a reduction and then lose weight and lose more boobs and then be saggy and super small.

Thank you! I am really happy with my progress and enjoying my new shape :)

I would love to be a 36d or c too... then again, anything would be an improvement from where i started. lol.

wish you much success as well :)

I am also 5'3. Started out as a G or so in cup size. Had back pain and problems etc. Now after a 60 lb loss am a C! Need a lift but no longer qualify for a reduction so I would wait but that's just me. Granted we have different starting and end goals as each other just thought the loss will be similar :)

I am down 110 lbs & 12 lbs from goal. Down from a 42 G to a 38 DD. I am needing a lift & fat sucked out the side as i have to fold & stuff my boobs as they are down to my waist. I love my new body & will feel better with the sag gone. I am 45 yrs old and i would be in this boat as i was always going to have a reduction. I am waiting for approval. Hope i don't have to wait to long. The wait list i heard is up to 2 yrs. Fingers crossed!

Great news! 3 months after my breast reduction & lift now I am a 36B :). Never dreamed I would be that small. Loving it!

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
