Went back to Water aerobics for the first time since surgery! It is really bad when the "old" ladies are doing better then you are LOL

It felt good! It is Monday, Wed, Fri & Saturday. I am going to make a point of going at least 3 times a week.

Hey girls,

I was looking at Water aerobics. I'm not so sure about showing this ars in a bathing suit just yet. It would really be fun though. Hope I get the courage. I still been walking every other day. Need to work on everyday stuff

Good Luck crodriguez!!!!

LSasha you said it, well with my terrible eating lately, I've decided to get back on the wagon. Today I have been running in place for a few minutes at a time. I wish I had my pedometer on today I'm sure it should have added up to at least 1,000 steps. I will put it on when I get home and walk the halls. My right knee has been bothering me so it was a deterent for me to not ride my stationary bike the weekend.:nervous

T- I guess today was the day for both of us to get back on track. Can I count walking for over an hour in Walmart my work out for today? It sure did feel like it. My goal for tomorrow is to dance or walk in place for 30 minutes. I will post tomorrow.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
