To worry or not to worry

Hi All... I was banded December 8, 2010. I have a question regarding some pain I am having on the upper left side not the port but above.. I had pain before in that area and the nurse said it was from my work out and using that stomach muscle where the stiches are sewn too. I had a new work out on sunday with some more core work and wasnt really sore yesterday but today I woke up and the pain is horrible. I can feel my port and the pain is not there but as i feel up more i feel a lump of some sort... is that part of the band? I was thinking waiting a couple days before calling the dr just in case maybe i pulled a muscle alittle but was curious what is exactly this lump?

It's either still part of your port or maybe a hematoma. I wouldn't worry much but if you are call your surgeon's office and ask. Maybe relax on the ab work until the pain is gone.
