Post op problems

I had lap band surgery on Jan 10,2011. I have been sick ever since, I developed pneumonia, how I'm not sure I am an med-surg RN and I know what steps to take for optimal surgical recovery. Well I was on an antibiotic regimen for 10 days and now I'm on another round of antibiotic therapy for a very high fever I just don't get it. I take very good care of myself. I just wondered anybody else having any problems. I was so excited to have this procedure I have lost hundreds of pounds in the past but I also put on just as much if not more over the years. I truly want this to work but I want to be physically well, I haven't felt good any day since my surgery, I have had to leave work and call in to work because of how bad I feel. I just hope this passes soon. I am so looking forward to loosing this weight but I also want to have a good quality of life.
