Boot Camp Lbt Style

Recommended Posts

Well, I got my 1 hour workout covered this morning at the YMCA. I walked 1.5 miles in 30 minutes and then did stationary bike for 15 minutes and then did weight machines. Still working on my daily Water intake. I need to really get going on that because I tend to retain Fluid very badly making my scales crazy.

I am trying to eat lowcarb this week, wish me luck on that! I did the low-carb diet when I first had my surgery and it worked great for me, so I am going back to square one and trying that again. I have about 85 more pounds to lose and it seems to be a long, winding road.... Hope I can get over my plateau soon. Thanks for letting me vent....

I haven't checked in for quite a long time and regret that. I've needed this post for a long time. I hereby commit to drinking more Water and exercising at least three times a week. Thank you all for doing this!

:flame: I felt the burn, I felt the burn. Last night my abs were a little sore, I was so happy and that was from the night before workout. So I got on the floor and did 140 crunchs, inner and outer leg lifts, push ups and stretches. I can't wait to workout tonight.

Somebody catch me because I"m gonna faint. :faint: I have drank my Water, ate small meals and Snacks, gone to water aerobics 4 times this week and I have lost 5 pounds. I stay hungry and I feel like I am eating all the time.:hungry: Do you think my scales are broken? I go in for my 1st fill on Wednesday, but I don't think I am going to get one.

WHOOOOAAAAAAAAH!

What a GREAT week for you!!! JOB well done

I on the other hand worked out a total of

6xs this week!!!

I am very dissapointed to report I have lost zero

- yes I said zero pounds :)

The only good news I have to report is that my body % of fat is at a 46% now which is down from 47.5% so I guess I am really gaining alot more muscle.

Please someone who knows for sure tell me that eventually my pounds will start to fall off, I am so afraid that I will stay the same size & it will all just get hard & muscley, not like thats a word but you know what I mean.

Thank you for your support. I hope that next week your weight loss catches up with your BMI. I think that it is awesome that you are able to exercise the way you do. I have already had my left knee replaced and will probably have to have the right one replaced this summer. I do Water aerobics which is easy on my knees. I would love to do some regular exercises also.

I appreciate all the support that is given by the members of this board.:biggrin1:

Sarge I gurantee you that your body will change. It is such a complex thing that you just can''t do one thing and expect a certain change. The body knows what to do.

Do you watch the weight loss specials? People will work their tails off and lose nothing but you start seeing these changes such as cheek bones, small rolls(that would be me), oh yeah the big belly doesn't sit up as high, it looks like it fell down but it has to fall down before it can shrivle up:nervous . LOL Don't stress, just keep doing what are doing and you :director:WILL see it and feel it.

Ok, it's Monday and I am checking in. I am very dissppointed to say that I have gained 1.5 lbs so I am back where I started. I thought I was doing good. At some point last week I had lost 2.5 lbs and then I guess I got excited and started eating again. I ate Golden Coral on Sunday, Homemade flautas and mexican rice on Tuesday, On the Border on Wednesday for lunch and Cheddars on Wednesday night for dinner. Dickeys bar-b-que for lunch on friday andTaco Bueno and a piece of fish from Long Johns on Friday night and on Saturday I ate waaayyyy too much since it was my husbands birthday we went out to dinner again. So I ate out 4 days this week but a total of 6 times. Oh my god what was I doing.:help: I feel so bad and I am surprised I only gained 1.5 well I guess since I did work out very hard 4 days this week and did drink my Water. Well today is Monday and I am starting over. I am taking on the challenge of working out 2 times in 1 day at least once this week. But I just get so hungry sometimes my tummy growls and I want food. Can anyone offer some advice please.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
