I was wondering if anyone here has been banded through True Results in Richardson? If so, what is the normal first fill amount? I would love to compare results and stories!

While I was not banded by that True Results I was done by the one in Austin and it was great. They seem to be very knowledgeable. I believe they even use the same surgeons to perform the operation.

My band had 3cc's in it and is a 14 cc band. I just had my first fill as well and they put another 2 cc's in.

Over all I am very happy with choosing True Results

I did all my pre-op (insurance hoop jumping) at the Richardson site. Surgery at Baylor Carrollton. My first fill today in Hurst. I got 1.9 in my 10cc band. So far, it's good! I'll go back in a month for more.

Tell us your story....who did your surgery? Marsden did mine, love that man!

This is my second time writing this! The first time who knows what happened!!

I had everything done through True Results and Surgical Center of Richardson. My surgeon was Dr. Benevidas, who I have barely met so I have no opinion of him. But one of his nurses was wonderful! She called me everyday for 10 after checking on me and my pain level. That was a great bonus!

I was banded 11/23 and weighed 234 as of today I am 208! I have not started exercising yet:( next week I plan to start a routine because I will be off work for two weeks! Woot! Woot!

I would love to hear yalls exercise routine. I go for my post op appointment and first fill next Tuesday, thank goodness! My surgeon placed 3 cc's in my band during surgery but for the past week I have noticed myself wanting to eatmore. It doesn't help that it is te holidays and goodies everywhere I turn.

Keep me updated, I would love to hear your thoughts and stories!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
