Yeah, so I'm doing about 10 lbs a month or so, but I honestly feel like it's slowed way down (maybe it's all the candy dishes at work). I'm exercising one hour to one hour and a half a day, but honestly I almost never drink anything, and I see a lot of "liquid" references. I probably drink less than 2-3 cups of liquid a day. I just... never drink. What should I do? Diet pills, hollywood diet... anyone, anything? I'm trying get all Britney-Spears fabulous (ha ha ha) by March for my Australia trip...

10 pounds a month is awesome - you're doing everything right EXCEPT drinking your Water.

It is recommended to consume .5 oz of Water for each pound of body weight per day. Remember, we are talking WATER - not just any ol' liquid.< /p>

Why? Who cares? Water washes away the wastes of the body, particularly the wastes associated with weight loss. Without adequate water, wastes are stored in cells as toxins, and disease sets in. Without adequate water, your kidneys work overtime, trying to filter wastes and toxins out of the blood without enough "solvent" to make this task easier. Wastes that don't get moved through dissolved in water can crystalize and create kidney stones.

Without adequate water, the body becomes dehydrated and tries to hold on to what little water it does get. This also helps keep wastes and toxins in your system.

Once you kick up your water you may not see an increase in your weight loss, but you can rest assured that your body will be healthier.

Adequately hydrated people should have very very light urine. If your urine is dark chances are you are very dehydrated. Certain B Vitamins will turn your urine bright yellow, so that doesn't count.

I'm not quite sure why you seem disappointed with a 10 pound a month weight loss. I say, "Congratulations! Whoo hooo!"

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water. ย Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ˜ญ. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! ๐Ÿ˜ž
