How many pants sizes did you go down after TT?

Recommended Posts

notateechanow... since you are self-pay, can I ask, how much is this procedure going to cost you? I'm still loosing and I am quite a ways off from being able to have this done, but I too will be self-pay as I have never had any rash problems. Sorry to be so nosey, I just want to have a ball-park idea of what my goal needs to be to save towards.

Thanks!

Thanks, Shalee! Thats what I am hoping for but it sounds like a lot of people didnt really lose weight or a size! I was hoping to get to ten pounds from goal and then kind of get there with the surgery! Are you happy with the result?

I lost 8 pounds the first month after my TT. Unfortunately, I had to have an unfill 2 weeks before my surgery, due to being OVER filled a month earlier, and now I've gained back 7 of those 8 pounds.

My PS told me I would not be hungry for the first couple of weeks and he was right. So, my advice would be at your "sweet spot" or close to it at surgery time, and use the lack of hunger to your advantage!

Thanks for the advise. Initially I thought I'd need to get an unfill prior to surgery; my LAP-BAND® doc said no, it's not necessary - this was music to my ears especially now that I'm at a perfect place with my fill.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
