:crying: Super happy I found you guys. I had my surgery on 9/10. I was and for the most part still am feeling great. I took one of my normal meds this morning that I always used to take before surgery. It did not like that my tummy was empty and it made me heave and throw up okay that is a lie since we don't seem to be able to throw-up at this point. As of today I am soooo hungry. Cream of Tomato Soup and some icecream just is not cutting it. i need food damn it!!!!!!

Now for my real question. Is it normal for us to have the same that we put in our front end to come out the backend if you catch my drift?

Actually, I have less coming out than going in, which might be causing the horrible gas pain. OUCH. I can hardly move without stabbing pain.

Totally normal! it gets worse before it gets better just hang in there and try to add some Fiber supplements if you can.

I will have my surgery this Tuesday the 21st and I am so excited and nervous. I also have Triwest and will pay $25 and have my fills covered and its wonderful!! I think I am most nervous about the pain afterwards and the fills kinda make me nervous but, I am so ready to get this going and feeling better about myself.

I slept on my side the 2nd night after surgery (it helped the shoulder pain a lot to put pressure on it) but everyone is different. Hope you feel like yourself soon.

Hey guys. I'm glad I found this too. I was banded 9/10/10. I have been less sore as each new day comes. Today I'm having a mental breakdown it feels like. I'm so tired of watching my son and husband eat food. I know I have done the right thing by having surgery. I am just so depressed and down. I do take depression medication. My emotions are going haywire. I have to cook for my 3 year old and its killing me! Sigh, just venting guys.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
