  1. Ok its me from above. i found my old account thank goodness. I am still scared and hurting where my port is now moved to.
  2. Brian! Hey it wasnt as bad as I thought. She just poked around a little and got it. I was relieved. its so much easier after the fill. My appetite is soooooooo much less. Thank goodness! Now just dreading the work thing soon. lol I go back Sunday. :thumbup:
  3. I had my surgery 9-10-10 with no fill at all. Got my first fill Monday of this week. I had a big appetite before my fill. I got 2 cc. Its better now. I didn't know that they could put that much in at surgery. Thats cool. I wish i hadn't been through so much bandster hell.. You are lucky!! :thumbup::thumbup:
  4. Hi! I to was banded on 9-10-10. I got my first fill today! Its not bad at all! I can still drink and eat fine. Just not as hungry as often! Its wonderful! Don't worry! :tongue2:
  5. lol my doc told me no drinking 30 min before a meal and not to drink again til 1 hour after. So crazy how every place is so different! :smile2:
  6. The first week for me was outta the question! I slowly was able to sleep in bed and on my side 2 and half weeks post-op. there is still alittle dicomfort but its feels great to be sleeping normal again! I know this point in time in your post-op is hard to even move without hurting. Don't worry, it will happen soon! Just needs a littel more time to heal. *Hugs* :thumbup:
  7. Carmen we are so much alike in so many ways! I'm glad I'm not alone. My husband has awful eating habbits and weighs 150lbs. Not fair! It is almost a physical pain sometimes watching him wolf down some bad yummy looking food. Craziness! :thumbup:

  11. Aly that didn't sound like fun at all! You poor thing. They say it gets better. I am still hoping it does. lol just hungry here. It took a week before the soreness finally lightened up. Best of luck! :smile2:
  12. Sugar free ice pops are great! At least thats what my doc said.. I love them :smile2:
  13. :rolleyes2:My doctor told me to use Flinstones chewables. No Gummies. And Viactiv calcium chewables. I also have to take vitamin b12 pills, but only cause my b12 is low. I had to crush pills for a week. I swallow them now no problem. Just one at a time. I haven't had a fill yet though. It may be more difficult then .
