New Heree (Ready for Change)

Hi, I'm turning 18 in a week (7/26) and I've been struggling with weight since 1st grade. I wanted to skip right to a tummy tuck and just be done with it but I want to keep the weight off so I'm trying the LAP-BAND® again (started with a LAP-BAND® program for teens but got discouraged). Just hoping to start college life off on the right foot, have fun and feel good about myself for once.

Congrats! It's good that you've decided to try to get healthy again. A tummy tuck really wouldn't have done you any good, especially if you don't know how to eat properly/exercise to keep the weight off. Good luck and hopefully you'll be happier and healthier in college!
