Trauma Nurse - Your frenchie is too cute. There is just something about those little smushed noses that get me! I was going to get a french bulldog before I got my two pugs...but don't tell them that!

Dogs:

I have been blessed with one HUGE Cane Corso Mastiff (Italian Mastiff that I imported from Italy) and a very cute, bat eared, Pit Bull that my boyfriend and I inherited when his brother re-enlisted back into the army.

Horses:

I have 6 horses...5 I lease out and I keep one, Dark Copy-Copygirl for short, for my showing-show jumping and eventing.

I have two dogs. One 3 year old purebred german shephard named Liberty because I got her the night the war in Iraq started and she's my big baby! I looooooooooooooooooooove her.

My other is a 8 month old german shephard and yellow lab mix named Mason after the city we got him in. He's my big goofy boy.

We also have a big black cat named L'Roar which is a goofy name my mom gave him. He was my mom's cat. He appeared on her porch on christmas night probably 5 years ago while me and my mom were sitting in the living room watching a movie. I noticed him on the window sill outside and so she went out to see him and my dad yelled "DON'T YOU FEED HIM OR HE'LL NEVER LEAVE!" and next thing you know my mom's got christmas ham out there. hahaha. And he NEVER left. When I bought my first house 3 years ago he moved in with me and he's been mine since. I call him BIG kitty because he's huge.

I love this thread! I mean, who doesn't LOVE talking about and showing off their babies!

Both of my babies are Miniature Pinschers. The black one is Lexis and she will be 5 in August - she weighs 6 lbs. The brown one is Beamer and be will be 2 in November - he weighs 8 lbs.

This picture was taken about a year ago and they have changed so much! Bad Mommy for not having current pictures!

Here they are:

Oh, they are all so cute. We have a 6 month old A.K.C. Mini Daschund, black/tan short haired. He is adorable. Such an attitude. We had a red one but he developed cancer so this time we bought black/tan. They are so attitudy, if that's a word.

We have a dog who is 4YO. Her name is Angel and she is part Corgi and part mystery dog. We adopted her from Petsmart on a Saturday when one of the local rescue groups had their animals in there. She was only 8 weeks old when we got her. She is my baby and I am her momma. She is very smart, very affectionate and loves her squeaky toys. :success1:

We also have a guinea pig named Tommi. I have no idea how old she is. We got her from a person in a bar who was giving her away. She thinks of me as her momma and squeaks like crazy when she hears my voice. She stops once I start to scratch her nose & give her some apple. :)

I wubs my animals. :clap2:

I have 2 cats - SMOKEY and THE BANDIT

The two of them are like chalk and cheese.

SMOKEY is a Russian Blue cross tabby. He's silver, skinny, slinky, pettite. He has a huge personality, and "talks" quite loudly with his miaos. His purr is almost silent. He's very personable, and will come and check out any visitors. He loves to hang out with people, and hates being alone. He was 6 mths old when we got him, for free from the cat shelter. They gave him to us as a replacement for a cat that we had got from them that died after just 1 month as a result of a congenital liver defect.

THE BANDIT came into our lives the week after we got Smokey, as a 6 week old ball of ginger cotton wool. He fitted into the palm of my hand. now he's like a barrel on (short) legs. He's the exact opposite to Smokey, in looks and personality - he's HUGE, fluffy (med-hair), gold, shy, a HARLEY for a purr, and a ridiculously small miao for a cat so big. If you could get cats banded, he'd be a great candidate.:omg: He'd been dumped at the vets'. They let us have him when we took Smokey in for his shots, as they felt sorry for us having lost the first cat and all. From behind he's so cute - all fluffy pantaloons and a big, fluffy tail.

Both cats are now about 7 years old.

DID YOU KNOW: That cats are solar-powered? :scalesno: They must be - why else would they need to lie in the sun all day? hehehehe:D

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
