Judy, LOVED the pix! I know you both worked so hard on it...but you can tell it is done with love, and I think you and Mulch Man dun real good!

My entire plans today changed. Didn't start the shadow box or hang out w/ bro and nephew. Managed to go out to lunch and out to dinner, swam for 1.5 hours...and did a ton of work for Walden.

See you in the AM!

Good morning, Violets..

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day today. I left the window open last night and the Bobster forgot to close them. It got down into the 40's and while the a/c was on in the bedroom upstairs, the furnace was on downstairs.. arghhhhhhhh!! I turned both of them off this morning. It's supposed to warm up into the 80's by the weekend. Can't wait!

I hope to get out and trim the yards and get some pool time in today. Nothing on my agenda except for a singing rehearsal tonight.

Everyone have a great day!!

Hi my violets... feeling a little blue today. We had a wonderful weekend. We were able to get away to the beach for a few days so that was nice.

Not much else here. Looking into flights so we can go be with juans family in mexico. We might leave tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great day today. Hugs and kissed...

Hey Girlies...

Judy, all I can say is "WOW!" -- your gardens are beautiful!! Ditto what Pam said... your love shines through!

((Haydee))

Janie, when do you go to the ortho re: your thumb?

WTG on the workout, Pam! I completely agree w/you & Jenny, yet do the same thing! What is wrong with this picture?

Another child-rearing milestone this morning (ugh, these are coming all too fast & furious lately!) -- DS and I sent out his first college contact e-mails to soccer coaches who will be at the camp he's attending next week. He'll have more to do for a tournament in July. And so it begins...

Now if I can just get him to start SAT prep!

DD was at the barn for 12 hours yesterday (camp + her regular lesson)... she was dirty head to toe, and exhausted, but oh-so-happy! That's what summer's all about!

Off to get some work in... make it a great day!

Morning girls~

((HAYDEE)) sending you love and prayers!

I did it again!!! 2 days in a row! My knee muscles are killing me, so are my quads and calves. I LOVE IT!

Well, yesterday all my plans fell apart...and so today is a redo! Going to Nikki's in a bit to work on Haydee's present, and then home to grade papers and finalize grades from last term.

LOVE YOU GUYS!! XOXOXO

Haydee, wish there was something to say to make it better!!

WAY TO GO PAMELA!!!!

Well this starts a new week, but a short one, I am not working Saturday. Here in Webster we have a big parade, and since the 4th is on a Sunday, the parade is the day before, so I am not working!!

Laura are you back? Are you back richer?

Oh well off to get ready for work!!

Good afternoon, Violets..

Lazy, chilly day here today. The pool "boys" are putting a new cover on the pool. Wish I could get in it today, but 62 degree air temp is a little chilly. The Water is warm, but I'd never want to get out!!

I've been doing laundry all day, plus doing several chores for the bobster. He's coming home a bit early today so we can have dinner together before I go to rehearsal. Not sure if I'm cooking or we're going out. I'm thinking Soup sounds really good on a day like today!

I ordered a new squirrel proof bird feeder. It got excellent reviews on Amazon, so I hope it works! All the birds are staying away because of the squirrels. Plus they're eating me out of house and home with the seed they are consuming!

Hope everyone is having a good day. Will check back after rehearsal tonight.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!
