running pants

Recommended Posts

A while back someone posted a link to some really nice running pants. They had lots of built in support. Can anyone help with the link? Thanks!

Sorry, cant help with the link but just to encourage you to spend up on a good pair! I find that they really improve the quality of your running experience, they hold you in and reduce bounce and jiggle which makes running much more comfortable.

I also really prefer a fitted top with a shelf bra, there's just no way I'd go running in old track pants and a big Tshirt, it just would be uncomfortable.

I only have ordinary tights like Nike and Adidas ones but they're a massive improvement over Target leggings!

That's what I am looking for - something to hold in the jiggle. I have a bit of loose skin and it sure does wobble. I did an internet search last night trying to find the pants and I think I found them. They are CW-X stability pants. I am going to the sporting goods store today to take a look at them and try them on. They are a little pricey so I don't want to order blindly from the internet, I want to try them on.

Definitely try them on. Those CWX tights are really tight! Uber-supportive, though. Very expensive. I personally don't buy their selling points though-- I think they are very good tights, but I don't think they give you better endurance or anything. (I have a couple of pairs-- next winter I will fit back into them!)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
