BDSM/rough sex and the lap band *blush*

Recommended Posts

I was hoping someone else had already asked this question to spare me the embarrassment but if it's already been asked I can't find it!

My hubbie and I are into BDSM and I'm wondering if any experienced bandsters know if we have to play more gently after getting banded (I really, really hope not.)

Hubbie and I played rough tonight (I was banded on Dec4) and my port seemed to flip horizontal for a moment and I had to flip it back into place with my finger. Isn't it supposed to be stitched on? I am perplexed by the whole thing. It was definitely flipped onto its side and bulging!

I'll elaborate on the subject and the situation if required but leave it at that for now.

*Dies of embarrassment*

Wow razorgirl sounds like you guys get into some naughty play. I would perhaps wear a cincher to hold things in place in the mean while. I love corsets/very tight fitting girdles and thought that my port might hurt while wearing them. I am 1month out and i laced up a corset the other night and was pleasantly surprised that it didnt hurt. You might want to give it a little longer so that your port is healed up in place. you dont want to end up with a flipped port or kinked tubing.

A corset! Of course! I have a few kicking around too. Why didn't I think of that?

Think I'll opt for the cincher I have or perhaps just wear a bodysuit or something. Will probably avoid the heavy duty Edwardian one. hehe.

I hope it works and I'll update what the clinic says about it too.

Thank u for making your post.... I appreciate all the info. i can get b4 going under surgery. Know going through the step of embarassment was helpful for many

The corset sounds like a good idea while you're still healing from the operation. Once it's all healed up though, you're good to go! My partner and I play pretty rough too and it's not even in our thoughts that the band might be a problem now. However, the healing period is essential - ports can flip and stitching can get torn if you push the envelope too soon. Whatever it was that you did to partially flip your port last time, hold off on that for at least another month, eh? Lots of other games to play that won't affect the port *nudge nudge wink wink*

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
