I thought I was listing to myself talk while reading this blog. There only difference is you’re a further along in your journey that I am because I’m still with my abusive partner for fear of being alone (can’t believe I wrote that, but if you can share so can I) We are also very close in our weight loss goals. Please feel free to contact me anytime!!!

Ps I’m going to have to get that book (smile)

6. 2 Miles today.....I cant beleive you guys are making me do this alone, But here I go walking away the pounds.......
7. I posted this before i was banded since then I've lost 39 lbs. 44D to about a 40D and they are looking pretty perky. Hopefully it stays this way lol
8. Congrats and Good Luck on your Journey!!!
9. I agree with the ladies above. I'm slow loser, only 39lbs since banded 03/07/2011. But I look like I've lost a lot more. I'm down 3 sizes in clothes due to inches lost. Good Luck.
10. For anyone who likes Leslie Sansone's Walk away the pounds DVD's or if you do any sort of walking, can you challenge yourself to walk 60 miles or more in September. Let's get to walking starting September 1st.

YOU CAN EVEN START TODAY, WHY WAIT!!!
11. I'm down 39 lbs since surgery. Went from a 18/20 (3x) shirt and pants to now a very baggy 16. I could probably get into a 14 pants, but I haven’t' tried yet no money lol. But my tops are 14.
12. Thanks ladies the idea sounds good, but to go natural I would have to do a big chop and cut off all my relaxed hair once. That’s a big decision…… any woman of any race to make.
13. Okay ladies when I exercise, my hair is drenched with sweat the process to straighten my relaxed hair after I work out takes 2 hours. Wash, deep condition for 30 min. Roller or wet set ( dry under a hooded dryer for 1 hour to reduce the amount of heat I use on my hair) and then flat iron. How are you doing it? I think I'm going to have to cut back my work out to 3 days a week and make those my wash days since we're not supposed to wash every day due to dryness. Any advice would help.I am a member of this site Healthy Textures and they give really good advice on hair care but my situation being banded and having to work out regularly is somewhat different.
14. Adjusting to the band is a great idea "not asking it to adjustment to me lol". I have 10 days before I see my doc I'm going to work on it.
15. Okay, I have 6.5cc in my band. Very.. very tight my hubby thinks I need an unfill. My last fill was .5cc. I can’t enjoy my food after 5 or 6 bites (less than about ¼ cup of food) I’m uncomfortable not stuck but uncomfortable. I can’t eat slider foods (yogurt, Protein shakes, string cheeses) but everything else gives me problems unless I eat bites about half the size of you pinky nail lol. I’ve been pb’ing like crazy. Sigh…… I see my doc on 08/26 thinking about getting .25cc taken out, but what will this mean… Come on family what do you think.
16. Hey my daughter was just 15 months on the day of my surgery. It was hard becasue I was told not to lift her but I managed. My hubby helped out during the afternoons and she was at daycare during most of the day. (It's more because of the stitches I was told). Can you afford daycare for a week? Good Luck!!
17. Dave thanks for the article great resource..I now know that feeling stuffed is a no no... I should have stopped before that may a 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup. Thanks and please keep passing this along. I know I will
18. I bake it...maybe it's the fact that I can't cook lol....
19. Hey, guys chicken is causing me all sorts or problems theses days..Is it just me? I keeps getting stuck
20. I don't know what restriction is but I have 6.5cc in my 10cc band and today I got full off an 8oz cup of food. So does this mean I good for a while???? (I feel like I'm about 2 spoon full's away from Thanksgiving dinner) lol.
21. Congrats... I feel the same way. I started my journey at 276 (WOW) 5'7. I weighed in this morning at 241 (YAY)
22. Keep your head up I know the feeling.. My baby is now 19 months and money is still tight. I'll keep you in my prayers.......
23. My 1st time was Tuesday, just had a new fill Friday and I was swollen. I work in a call center and was on a call when I felt it comming. The lady I was talking to just kept asking question after question and I knew that if I didn't end the call I would throw up while she was talking. Thank God she ended in just enough time for me to run to the bathroom and save the embarrasment for the next fill lol.
