  1. I would try and control your eating habits now prepare yourself for your post-banded life. IMO if you eat everything you want know it may remind you of what you think you might be losing as far as food goes. You may start to focus on that instead of the changes ahead. Good Luck
  2. I did not have to do a 6 month diet, but it has taken me 4 months to get to the point when everythig has been summitted to insurance. It has not been fun. Good Luck to you!

  8. Ok so where I work they are always feeding you LOL. Candy, potluck, bagel for breakfast, donuts, ect. I'm found out from my psych eval that I'm a visual cue eater so this is very hard for me. Just hang in there it is mind over matter.
  9. Hi, 64lbs please pat yourself on the back. You have done great. My surgeon’s told me at my initial consultation that my ideal weight is 150lbs which means I’m about 130lbs overweight. He was real honest and said that the band would only help me lose about 60% of that. This means I’m going into this expecting to lose 78lbs. I haven’t been banded yet but I think 78lbs is great and I’m looking forward to being that much lighter. Good Luck to you.
