Well I hope my process is that quick. I go back on Oct 13. I haven't heard anything from Tricare yet. I am hopeful thanks for all of your support.

Hi bamagirl73, I am like you, I have Tricare as well. I just started the process, I have had my first initial appointment with the surgeon and I am scheduled for a seminar on Oct 13. I have had lab work done through my PCP last month. A total of 19 tubes of blood, I sure hope that they don't need any more tests. I am waiting on my go ahead from Tricare I guess. I am hoping to have my surgery date soon. Please keep me updated. Good luck

Hey Mustangkitten, I am new here as well. I had my first appt with the surgeon my next one is Oct 14. Like you I hope this procedure goes by quickly. I don't know what to feel right now but I guess as the process goes forward emotions will change many times. I don't have support here either. So drop me a line sometime.

I am so happy for you. Congrats!!!!!!! Please keep us posted on your progress. I had my first doctor's appt on Friday and my first seminar on 10-13. I also have to get insurance approval as well. Good luck to you.

Hi everyone, Today I told the first step in the LapBand process. I have my next meeting in October. This is a lot of information to take in I have so many emotions right now. I hope to find some friends and much encouragement on this forum. Getitgirl
