  1. I was sleeved by Dr. Moazzez on 9/20. Go for it!
  2. I was also sleeved on 9/20. Today was my first day back to work and I bought pantyhose 2 sizes larger size so they wouldn't be as tight and would rise higher than my incisions. Overall they didn't feel too bad.
  3. Best wishes to you on your surgery!
  4. Congrats! You can make it!
  5. Wow, you look great in the dress and boots! Hope you get to wear this weekend and have a great time!
  6. Those were my numbers exactly! I thought I would use the time to get my eating under control, but I didn't. I didn't put a stop to the food funerals until pre-op diet. Once I started that, I was in the zone! No cheating!
  7. I ordered the tote too and was thinking the same thing!
  8. I am a single mom of a 14 and 11 year old. I made fajitas, tacos, raviolis, cold cut sandwiches, and mac'n cheese. They weren't in the mood for spaghetti and meatballs this past week. I stocked up at Costco--chicken, raviolis, ramen noodles, pasta sauce, Mac'n cheese, poptarts, etc. so I didn't have to run out to the grocery store.
  9. This will be perfect to carry my lunch to work!
  10. As soon as you are up to shopping and cooking, you will have a great impact on your children's eating habits. Hang in there.
  11. I like the unsweetened coconut and rice milks in my shakes. Pre-surgery I didn't care for either in coffee. I still used fat free half-n-half.
  12. BellaRoma713. I am 1 week post-op and adding MFP to my daily routine.
  13. Toyaboo22, i am so sorry for your loss. I pray you get the treatment you need. Thankfully you made it to the hospital.
  14. I have found this site so helpful. I love it! I am now making MFP part of my routine. BellaRoma713.
  15. While having my Premier Protein, I cooked blueberry pancakes, bacon, hash browns, eggs, and muffins for the family. I just don't sit down. I keep moving, serving, cleaning, etc. now that the teens and grandma are fed, I am enjoying a cup of blueberry herbal tea in peace. I am 1 week post-op and not hungry yet. In a matter of weeks I will be having an egg with them. I just keep telling myself this stage will be over soon.
  16. If I remember the guidelines did not list them specifically, but sleep apnea is one. High cholesterol itself is not a comorbidity, but contributes to the overall picture of future health predictors. My coordinator worked with BCBS fed to gain approval, but I had the 40 bmi with sleep apnea. I didn't have the 2 years documented by a physician. I only had 1 year as I avoided doctors due to increasing weight. I got approved.
  17. Best wishes for a smooth recoveries on both your procedures!
  18. I am 1 week post op and using MFP. Add me BellaRoma713. My daily food logs aren't very interesting--just liquids right now.
  19. Hi I am BellaRoma713 on MFP. I am 1 week post op and I am making MFP part of my daily routine. I sent a bunch of requests, but MFP has a limit. Add me too!
  20. You have done great! 96 lbs total in 6 months!!
  21. Sorry to hear about your separation. Put your need out to your wife. Let her know it would mean a lot to you if she were there the day of surgery or to check on you. Try to have everything you need ahead of time to make the first 2 weeks. Best wishes to you.
