Weight Gain......

Anyone gain weight while doing pre-op test? I feel that once I mentally committed to getting the sleeve and started this process and knowing I wouldnt be able to eat like I do now, I got out of control for a lil bit. I gained 10lbs in 3 months. I felt ashamed when I met with my surgeon for the 2nd time and gained 10lbs. I gotta get mentally ready for this lifestyle change.

Me too. I am so ashamed. When i had a consult with a surgeon back in july i was 233. I am now 248. I am easing back into zumba and making an effort to correct bad eating habits.

Those were my numbers exactly! I thought I would use the time to get my eating under control, but I didn't. I didn't put a stop to the food funerals until pre-op diet. Once I started that, I was in the zone! No cheating!

What did your drs think of what happened? I'm in the same boat and I'm having such a hard time curbing my eating. I'm worried it means I'm not ready.
