Way to go! I had to laugh because last year when I took my kids to an amusement park they wanted me to ride on the roller coaster. Well....it was so embarassing. I had to lift up my tummy a little bit. I was just banded 2 weeks ago and I cannot wait until next summer to have that same experience that you did with your daughter! Hats off to making memories!
  3. Way to go and keep up the great job! It is a great feeling to not need the seat belt extender. I am going for my first feel so I am glad that you gave that bit of information as to what you can expect.

Oh, Leigha! I am so sorry. I am also on Day 10. Yesterday, my kids ate the last of the Greek Yogurt. We had a nice little chat about "mom's food" for the time being. I didn't tell them not to eat it because I didn't think they would be crazy about the taste. Oh well...my lesson to learn. When, I went to the store today, I looked for any cream/soft items I could find. I can't wait for the day of "real" food. I know we will both get there soon! I hope you feel better soon!

Congrats! I had my lapband put on July 28th. I go to see my doctor on Friday. I have a question though...is your doctor allowing you to eat anything 2 weeks out. I see people have so many different plans. And....I totally understand the "little" bathroom issue. That can be quite the inconvenience! Let me know about your diet 2 weeks out if you get the chance! Thanks!
  6. Hello! I also had my banding done on July 28th. I am amazed at how many commericials are on TV about food. I didn't really notice it before (LOL). However, I am so sick of being on this liguid diet. But....I know that I must...5 days out(counting surgery day). I hope your pain subsides soon. I am not in so much pain as it is just discomfort. I can deal with that though!
  7. Hi, I had my surgery on Wednesday and still have a lot of gas. I want to get rid of it one way or another. I do know that walking helps a lot. I also was able to go #2 yesterday. That was a relief. However, I am surprised that the scales have me heavier than pre surgery. How can that be with this liguid diet? I guess it is from all of the swelling. However, I feel like I should be 10 pounds lighter. I am not going to weigh myself again until I go to the Dr. next Friday. Although, I am excited to see a drop in weight.
