Happy Days

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share something with all of you. :tt2: Last year in August at our county fair (before I was banded) I tried ridding the ferris wheel with my 5 year old daughter. Well I didn't fit. It was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever done. I was totally embarrassed!! I did ride it, but the guy just jammed the bar into my large stomach. Well this year, post banding, I did get to ride the ferris wheel with my now 6 year old daughter and it was comfortable. I am not skinny by any means, but at least now my daughter has someone to ride with and we can make more memories together.

6 months out

Six months have come and gone and I feel great. I have had my ups and downs, but in general I have done really well I think. I know have the ambition to do something. I love playing with my kids. I have lost 60lbs to date and can't wait to lose more.:frown:

shoulder pain

:thumbup: I am 3 1/2 months post-op, and I have pain in my left shoulder when I eat, even on the very 1st bite. It's not constant, and I have tried to take smaller bites, chew longer and wait more time between bites. Any suggestions????
