  1. I am not having any problems with my port and intimacy. I dont feel any pain or anything. I am not at my goal weight and am not sure if this will show. My doctor says after losing weight with lap band sex rocks and roll. LOL
  2. I had surgery last Tuesday 7/27 and lost 8 pounds since then. I started getting pain yesturday underneath my breat bone and was confused abou the pain as well. I have been drinking cold drinks and had no problem. All of the sudden I just started feeling this. I am going to try gas-x. I am soo hungry and bored of fluids! I have 7 more days of fluids. I am also concerned about getting all my protein in. Any suggestions on this? I am doing the shakesand vitamins but am looking for something that offers a large amount of protein.
  3. I am feeling better. I have less gas but some heartburn. I feel better every day and have lost 6 pounds since Tuesday. I did measure myself in the hospital several days ago and the scale was actually more as well. Gas x has helped as well as walking. I stayed with my parents for a few days and it was so hard for me because I smelled the cooked food and the coffee. I really wanted some! I know I could not and that really bothered me. I am back home with my son and I feel I will be able to handle the temptation aspect better because I will only have to prepare food for my son. I am very happy about my weight loss and started to try on some dresses and jeans. I can’t wait to lose all the weight!!!
  4. Hi, I just did surgery 2 days ago and stayed in the hospital for 2 nights. I am getting lots of gas and it I cant take in too much fluids. So far today I have only done 2 ounces of soup some protein water and I plan to drink a ounce more later of protein shake. I want to get all my protein in and I am concerned about this. I feel terrible when I have this gas. Will it go away? I have not done number 2 and was concerned about that too. Please give some feedback!!
  5. Good Luck! I get banded on Tuesday!!
  6. Very helpful post everyone. It has helped me out. I have lost 19 pounds and cant wait to loose 130 more! I am feeling much better now mentally about this and am ready for surgery. Good Luck everyone!!:bolt:
  7. I feel nervous about putting the lap band inside me. I sometimes feel as if I should try harder to loose weight and feel as if maybe I should not go forward with the procedure. Are these doubts normal? I feel scared about the affects of the band because I hear good and bad things. I am sooo confused!!
  8. July 1st for me! I am kinda nervous. My family is also nervous regarding this surgery but I am going to the LAP-BAND® support meetings which are very helpful in understanding as much as possible. The idea of having something inside me scares me a little but I know that I need to loose the weight. I am also nervous about the actual surgery.
